I wander if it will have all the problems the 335i does? Does the 135i come with an oil cooler standard? Or optional. Comparing it to a 2002 is blasphemy! They should have compared it a 320i!

I am still surprised at the weight. It weighs too much -- only 100 lbs lighter than the 335i does not make it 'too' much of a pocket rocket. Was hoping to see it around 2900-3000 lbs w/driver and fuel.

I'm sure the car will be great -- but, depends on what the entry price is. If the 135i is around the $35K mark which BMW of Fairfax believes it will start out at -- add in premium package, metallic color, xenons, and premium sound -- you are above $40K fairly easily (w/ tax and tags).
Then again, if the E92 M3 is starting around $55K-59K base -- not surprising to see BMW's keep going up in price. The 1-series almost gives them an excuse to keep bumping up the prices. I would like to test drive the 135i though when it debuts March 22, 2008 ... just to see how much fun it is.
