CRESSON, Tex. -- A highlight of every Oktoberfest is the chance to hone your driving schools at speed on a racetrack. For Oktoberfest 2007, it was Motorsport Ranch, a “sports car country club 40 minutes southwest of downtown Fort Worth. It comprises a 1.7-mile circuit and another, separate, 1.3-mile circuit. The driving school, along with the weekend’s BMW CCA Tire Rack Club Race series, ran on the long track.
