Missing Convertibles - October 7

It is likely the Cover Girl Princess will have to ride with another beauty queen...we are short a car. AND - the Z Club has less than 1/2 the size of last years parade group.

The weather in Baltimore on Sunday is predicted to be 86F.

There is a street celebration all day in Little Italy.

How can anyone with a BMW convertible (cabrio) NOT want to join us?

If you are failing to attract CCA cabrio owners, it appears to me that there are enough BMW dropheads available from the Baltimore area BMW dealers - and volunteers to drive them - that could be made available to carry most of the beauty queens in Maryland.

Northwest BMW is supporting us. The other local dealers claim they have no one who wants to lose a Sunday to drive one of their cars.

We have several thousand members in NCCBMWCCA. There are quite a few cabrios. This is not a formally sponsored tour, since it is restricted to only members with convertibles.

This is the 4th year we have supported the Columbus Day Parade. This is the first time we have not had great support. I still would like a few more cars.

I offered my Z4 but was declined due to the car only being a 2 seater

was asked by Frank Kirkpatrick (Maryland head of the club) to parade. You should have been with them...They had people from VA, MD and PA in the parade.
