Which stirs the blood more: “Give a Hoot. Don’t Pollute,” “Good to the Last Drop,” or “The Ultimate Driving Machine”? For true-blue BMW fanatics, there’s no question. But across a wider body of public opinion, the issue may be in doubt. BMW is hoping for national recognition for its slogan and BMW partisans have a chance to vote the slogan to the top in the fourth annual Madison Avenue Walk of Fame contest sponsored by USA Today, Yahoo, and the National Advertising Council. Through Monday, Sept. 24, you can vote for your favorite among 26 slogans online. There’s a separate contest for your favorite icon.
