Maryland CCA License Plates

Just became a member and had an additional question. sorry for being a NOOB.
I just purchased a car. I have a temporary registration that expires on the 26th of Oct.
I already have my inspection completed. I have the title in hand. I also have a member number and have submitted a request for plates (MD). I receieved an email stating that the info was recieved. NO Plate #s given to me at this time.
1. I assume I cannot do anything until I get some sort of letter from Ed MacVaugh? is that correct?

2. Can I go to glenn Burnie to the 2nd floor and take care of everything there Or do I need to take care of some things on the first floor?

1) wait until you get your MD plates
2) Ed will mail you the form (including new BMW tag #) to fill out.
3) Once you have #1 and #2, you can go to Glen Burnie
4) when you arrive, remove the plates from your car
5) go to second floor and get new BMW NCC tags
6) go to station #41 (I think) on the first floor and return the MD plates
7) go to your car and install new tags!
8) you're done.

Before you remove the plates, make sure they actually have / can find the new ones. Then go back out to your car, and replace the old plates. The MVA isn't exactly the most efficient / predictable place.

I concur.
The first time I went, they could not find my plates.
and I had my currents in hand ready to return them.
Good thing I did not go return the old plates before getting the new ones.
ha!
I ended up installing the old ones and waiting 2 more weeks.

Will do... Patiently waiting the form... will get cool MD BMW plates in hand .....then hand in the MD plates.
