Mini says the Clubman will be priced “between the MINI hardtops and MINI convertibles” when it arrives early in 2008 in the U.S.
July 30, 2007

Mini released details of the new Mini Clubman station wagon for the U.S. market. They’re the briefest of details and Euro-centric (the spec sheet, below, still is metric dimensions), but they do confirm earlier unofficial reports. This is a stretched version on the Mini Cooper, rendered as a station wagon, and providing more room in the back seat and cargo area. Whether more room in back equals adequate room in back remains to be seen: The Clubman measures 3.937 meters or 155 inches long, about 10 inches longer than the current Mini Cooper. The Clubman is 66 inches wide, 56 inches high.
