Does anyone know where the Pollen / Microfilter is located on a 1994 318i Sedan, and how difficult is it to replace?

While Brett suggests not taking out the glove box, removing it is how I always do it. It's much easier to see what you are doing, and to cleanout the airbox with a vacuum and a crevice tool. The 2 difficult screws require a very short screwdriver or one of those ratcheting 90deg screwdriver things. Be really careful not to forget the bolt under the glove box light. All told, about 9-10 screws for the glove box, then move the electrical connector out of the way, and it's swap-filter time. Enjoy.
p.s. your a/c will probably work *much* better with the new filter.
