    Thumbs up Paintless Dent Removal

Thought I'd share a recent positive experience with a paintless dent company. Dent Guys, owned by Steve Wiley, just did three of the four doors on my 98 e39, removing about 15 dings (most caused by my own lovely wife and children in our own garage!). He was very careful, knew his way around BMWs and the doors looked perfect (to my eye) afterwards. He does a lot of work for the Ferrari dealership in Sterling which in and of itself is a good recommendation. He let me watch him and explained what he was doing. Steve charged me about $350 for the three doors (he charges by the panel and this was in line with other estimates I got) and it was worth it. I have no affiliation with Steve (he can be reached at 703-969-6324), just thought he did a very good job and wanted to recommend him to other NCCers.

    Please clarify...

Did you say he charges by the panel?

I have two small dings (about size of a quarter) in different sections of my car. If I understand what you stated, I would be paying a fee per panel as opposed to the direct cost of the two small imperfections.

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

I'm working on setting up a "group" meeting to have
    dings/bumps/chips repaired.
For more information, follow this link:
    http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73169

If interested, please let me know and I'll add you to the list.

Last friday, I got 3 bumps repaired in 2 panels for $125.
Good job. I cannot find where the bumps were now.

I get no cut from setting this up. I just noticed the need to have
bumps or chips repaired from the e90 owners and just took the initiative
to try to set a group session to see if the guys give us a better price.

He charged me by the panel. The first door was more, with discounts for subsequent doors. I suppose if you have only one ding, he'd be less cost effective than if you had a bunch, but he is very helpful and could answer that question directly much better than I. I had one door with one but two others with several each and so my "cost/ding" ratio was reasonable I thought. I suppose a "group buy" with him would be possible as well.

    Here is the latest:
Chuck (the paint chip/scratch repair guy) is available on August 18 starting around 8:30AM in Gaithersburg, MD.

I left a message for Jose (who does the bumps/dings) to see if he can
come too and do all in one day.

Let me know ASAP if this date works for you.
If not, tell me what saturday in August works for you.

I don't see why that date wouldn't work...but I'm not getting up on Saturday before 11

Great! looking like everybody can make it on the 18th.
And both guys will be there: chip/scratches guy and bump repair guy.
You can get full service on one day!

What is the address/time/date of where we should meet? I can't find Dent Guys in this area. That phone seems to be a cell, and it's a little late to call atm.

    Guys,
The date is set for August 18 from 8:30 - the end.
See post #1 if you need a refresher on cost.
the session will be in Gaithersburg. Full address will be posted tomorrow.

I'm looking into forms of payment but assume cash will be preferred.
I think it will be fair that you will be attended in the order you signed up.
Also, Chuck might have a helper so he might be working 2 cars at a time.
If you have time constraints (a couple mentioned it already), let me know.
