For 2008, BMW’s 6 Series coupe and convertible get a new transmission, a handful of cosmetic changes inside and out, more driver aids, the anti-scald upholstery off the 3 Series convertible, and modest refinements to iDrive. Europeans get significantly more in the way of changes. Price and availability weren’t initially announced. New in 2005, this is the first reworking of the 6 Series, which should get another refresh for the 2010 model year and a replacement in 2012.
