i've had a torn meniscus for a few years, but since it doesnt hurt, i decided against surgery.

as for the outing, obviously it all depends on the course availability, but I was hoping for a Sat or Sun in May.

It's from the wear-n-tear of playing tennis 4-5 times a week. Surgery is really the only thing that's going to allow me to resume that schedule.

Hey all - here's a plug for Willie Lutz out at South Riding. I didn't see his posts earlier, but he's a BMW fanatic (he own's 3 right now - God bless his wife), a true wrencher, the head Pro at a Top 100 course in the Mid-Atlantic, and most importantly, he would be totally into making sure that this group was given priority treatment. I'm told he can't control the weather though. Seriously, he's a great guy.

The drive and golf sounds like fun...there are some scenic courses in WVa...probably a 2-3 hour drive...but also don't forget VA National out by the Shenandoah River. The course is just gorgeous, only 35 minutes from Leesburg, has a great 19th hole grille and bar, and isnt 'too' pricey.
