Our Spring meets is also reserved to try out new concepts and ideas which might be incorporated into our other group meets and forum mbrs.

So with that in mind, we would like to humbly your attendance to a small informal local DC Metro Group gathering at RiverBend Park

Now that we are two weeks away from the May 26th meet, it is important that we gather support from attendees and promoters.

Here is the official details behind the event:

DATE: SATURDAY MAY 26th
TIME: Event will begin at 10:30am, BBQs will light up at 11am
LOCATION: River Bend Park Picnic Pavilion, Great Falls, VA
Information regarding the site can be found on the Fairfax County Parks Website
FORMAT: Pot Luck BBQ, all attendees are encouraged to bring a food item (enough to feed 5-7), in addition to these dishes, sides, and desserts; we will be serving standard BBQ fare (hot dogs, burgers), and have sodas, waters, and condiments. Please see the list below for items required.
ENTERTAINMENT: Games, fishing, nature surroundings, RAFFLE, and lots and lots of car talk...
heres the Directions from Karen@Riverbend that got me there:
a. from 495 beltway take exit 44 Georgetown Pike
b. Go West (yes, thats away from the inner beltway)
c. drive 4.5 miles then right on Riverbend
d. about 2 miles, you'll need to go thru the stop sign
d. about a mile, you need to make a right on Jeffrey twds the Park
