PC Magazine names BMW X5 Digital Drive Car of Year

BMW’s new X5 is PC Magazine’s Digital Drive Car of the Year thanks to its “breathtaking array of useful, leading-edge technologies.” The award goes to the vehicles that make the best use of technology. “Some cars drive like buses,” the magazine said in its May 26 issue. “BMW’s X5 drives with a bus -- a 10-megabit bus called FlexRay that controls the rear suspension of this impressive new crossover vehicle.”
