BMW Group has improved its reimbursement program that helps buyers with disabilities get into one of its vehicles. In the past, the company would reimburse qualified buyers anywhere from $500 to $1,500 (depending on the Series) for modifications needed to make a chosen car or SUV suitable for the individual. Now, the company has lifted that cap, and pledges to reimburse the total one-time cost of any needed adaptations. Most other car makers cap such a refund at $1,000.
