Norbert Reithofer, BMW AG Board of Management chairman, sees “higher single-digit percentage range” growth for BMW, for Mini, and for Rolls-Royce in 2007.
BMW AG Chairman Norbert Reithofer, addressing press and analysts at the company's Annual Accounts Press Conference this month in Munich, reported that executives expect 2007 to be the best year in BMW's history in terms of unit sales, revenues, and profits--surpassing fiscal 2006's record pace.

Reithofer sees sales volume growth "in the higher single-digit percentage range" for each of the company's brands (BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce). Profits should surpass 2006 levels, as well, despite unfavorable foreign currency exchange rates and high raw material prices. In 2006, pre-tax profits were up 3% (excluding extraordinary gains) compared to the previous year, on a 5% jump in revenues. Thanks to the continued strong performance, the Board will recommend an almost 10% hike in the annual dividend paid to stockholders.
