Steven Johnson, the new Pacific
Regional V.P. of BMW CCA.
On February 16, 2007 following the 2007 BMW CCA national election, it was reported by the BMW CCA National Office that the winner in the election for Pacific Regional Vice President was Michael Mills. It was discovered on March 27, 2007 that the results of the Pacific Regional Vice President election had not been reported correctly due to transposition of numbers, and that the actual winner of the election was Steven Johnson.

According to BMW CCA President Scott Blazey, "As soon as we were made aware that the election results may have been incorrectly reported, we verified the results with the independent accounting firm that handles the collection and tabulation of our election ballots. Upon confirming that the accounting firm had provided the correct numbers and that a mistake had been made when the National Office reported the results, we immediately informed the two candidates and then prepared this news release to let the members know what happened.
