The 1999 BMW V12 LMR won both LeMans and Sebring in the same year.
Some of BMW’s most significant racecars and motorcycles are on display the weekend of March 9-11 at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, Amelia Island, FL.

Most important of the historic vehicles is the first North American showing of the BMW RS 500 Supercharged Racing Motorcycle that won the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy in 1939. Also on display is the 1941 BMW 328 Mille Miglia Touring Roadster, which was built for the Berlin-to-Rome race that was cancelled on account of the war.
