I still need more help folks!

Apparently my plan to catch a ride from the destination dealership back to the departure dealership during the day is moot, because the transport only makes one run during the day to the destination. He then waits there for the transport drivers. Oh well, it's a nice drive for charity.

Be there no later than 5:30 pm
As a surprise, BMW NA has brought out 3 Hydrogen 7s for test drives during the Komen Drive for the Cure at Passport, Bel Air, and Annapolis. An engineer from BMW AG rides along to answer questions.
Briefly, the engines currently are governed to 260 hp and a 125 mi. tank range, but much more will be possible in the future (they use that station in Arlington). The only interior difference is a fuel switch button on the steering wheel and fuel filler release, along with a dash indicator.
It starts up in hydrogen mode with a slight delay as the hydrogen pump winds up, like a diesel semi. Fuel mode can be switched over at any time. H2 mode runs slightly rougher, but the power output is supposed to be the same throughout the rev range between modes.
Here's your chance to get a first look, stop by!
