2007 Mini Coopers lined up at daybreak Tuesday for the press launch ride-and-drive.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – For all the changes to the new Mini Coopers, the new prices, like the changes themselves, are barely visible to the eye. The 2007 Mini Cooper will be priced at $18,700 (including freight), an increase of $700. The turbocharged Mini Cooper S will be priced at $21,800, a $400 increase.

The cars go on sale mid-month and as in the past, many will be special order, allowing dealers to keep a modest inventory on the lots. The upscale Mini Sidewalk Convertible option follows with production in March. It's based on the current convertible, which remains in the line for now.
