As the first automaker to deploy the Clear Channel real-time traffic information service called Total Traffic Network through the RDS (radio data service) feed, BMW owners will be among the first to benefit when a more accurate version comes available late in the first quarter that adds in traffic reporting from more than 625,000 probes, meaning GPS-equipped vehicles that automatically report their location and speed (anonymously).
