Saturday, March 31, Heart of Dixie, BMW CCA is having an M Club track day at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC. You will be driving the Performance Center cars and will enjoy professional instruction from one of the PC instructors. The track has just been greatly expanded and repaved so it is much more of a road course than the previous layout. The cost is $525 for the day and you can register online at http://www.motorsportreg.com. There are only 32 slots available so get registered if you'd like to hit the track. This is the perfect event for those of you who don't want to take your daily driver to the track but would like to have a fantastic high performance driving experience.

After Raf's strong endorsement at the last Ripken Autox and reading some previous posts about this event, some friends and I have taken the plunge and signed up. Does anyone have some hotel recommendations? We're hoping to sneak in a factory tour on Friday and make a leisurely departure Sunday morning. Great southern cooking would be great, but Tastykakes and Slim Jims will work just as well.

NCC will be hosting a Club Day in May with the Tarheel Chapter.
In October, Tarheel will host it with us.

The Hyatt is nice and the Westin is a bit nicer.
Both walking distance to lots of good restaurants and a brew pub.
