AutoWeek’s computer enhanced images of the next BMW M3 suggests a larger body and fenders arched to take 19-inch wheels. The engine may be a cut-down M5 V10.
The next BMW M3 may get a sneak preview at the March Geneva Auto Show before its formal unveiling at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September before going on sale in the U.S. early in 2008. That’s the word from AutoWeek (Jan. 22 issue) which published a couple spy photos and larger computer-generated images of what the finished car might look like.

Close competitors surpass 400 hp, with the Audi RS4 at 420 hp from a 4.2-liter V8, the Mercedes-Benz C63 reportedly due to get 450 hp from a 6.3-liter V8 (OPEC will like this one), and the Lexus IS-F around 400 from a 5.0-liter V8. So it’s clear V8 power is the way to go to keep up with the Joneses.
