LAS VEGAS – Want better sounding car stereo, safer backing into parking spots, and hassle-free in-car phone and music connections? It was all on display at the 40th annual Consumer Electronics Show that ran Sunday through Thursday here. To the annoyance of a couple thousand people who live astride both the automotive and consumer technology worlds, the five-day CES and the four-day press-analyst run of the 100th North American International Auto Show in Detroit both kicked off on Sunday. In recent past years they’ve been able to avoid serious overlap.
