Man, they must teach this to all Viper drivers when they get their vehicle. Brought back not so good memories for me.

Interesting clip Chuck. This appears to be a driver school/HPDE type event (the car with the camera has A4 on the windshield). I assume the dark Vette got a passing signal, completed it a little late, and maybe braked a little early for the fast turn 1 at Road Atlanta because he was off line.
If the Viper got a passing signal (can't tell) the pass was very late. The Viper driver must have realized they were closing fast on the Vette, got on the brakes so hard the car got squirrelly and they lost control. I can't tell if the Viper stopped sliding short of the tire wall. I've seen worse things, but it shouldn't happen in the A group.
The driver with the camera appears to have slowed to much, probably out of concern that the Viper might spin to stop on the track. But instead of getting back on the gas seems to have crept up the hill while clapping and commenting on the Viper's "great driving". I wonder if it was sarcasm or admiration of the Viper not hitting something. He's lucky the second Viper didn't rear end him.
