So because of someone else's carelessness I'm out of a car for the school this weekend. Anyone solved this kind of situation before (i.e. how did you find a car to use for a school/event)? What did you do?
Thanks a bunch,
TW

No ditch too deep,
No curb too high,
The rental car will Never Die!
Unless you have a good friend that will let you drive their car, I would just rent a compact driving appliance (Colbalt, Neon, etc.), pump up the tires and go to the school. It may not be a BMW, but the school won't be a total loss.

What Steve said - renting a s**t-box - probably a good idea. The school is more about learning the fundamentals of autoxing than actually competing. If anything, you'll be at an advantage when to get your car back because you will have enjoyed the fun of driving what we know is an inferior vehicle.
Sorry to hear about your car tho... best of luck

it was a beautiful day... the sun beat down
I had the radio on, I was drivin'...
My buddy with a Miata agreed to share with me. He's also taking the school. Thanks for the suggestion. I hope it never happens again, but if it does, I'll see you at the school in a s**t-box!

I shared a car for both the EVO I&II schools. The school is split in half (half work, half run) so sharing a car shouldn't be a problem.
Of course it is a good idea to clear this with them ahead of time as they may have to alter the run groups.
