Hello everyone, the highlighted part is malfunctioning on my fathers e39. After numerous attempts by a 3rd party entity that fixes these, they were unable to actually get it to work. Now we're looking into purchasing this part, however the dealer prices are somewhat steep from what I am told. Would anyone have any idea where we might be able to find this at a discounted price? Thanks in advance.
If that part lists for $725, the best you will get it from a dealer is for $575.00.
Do places like Worldpac carrry such modules?

I bought an ABS control unit for my '98 Catera from them for about $250. They warrentee the part but labor to re-install such is not covered, of course. If your layout is similar to my M5, the unit is readily accessible, so a swap could even be done right there in their parking lot.
