    Canadian Grand Prix

    Looks like my wife & I will be going to the Canadian Grand Prix.
    Anyone else going?

    Much better venue than Indy. Enjoy the atmosphere in Montreal. It's an awesome city. I plan on going to LeMans or Nurburgring 24hr race. Gonna fly one of the weeks prior and take vacation while in Germany.

    If you are going to Montreal for the Grand Prix try to avoid the package tours. You can find equal or better lodging than offered in these tours at lower prices. Just try to find a hotel that is close to METRO. You can buy tickets on line for the reace. The food in Montreal is great and better than Indy. Montreal is one of the best cities in North America for strip bars. If you bring your girlfriend, spouse or SO the shopping in Montreal is great if they want to attend the race.

    Back in 2000 my friend and I rented a 2 bedroom apartment for 70/night. 5 blocks or so to a metro stop. 70/night is stupid cheap for that weekend.
