    Wheel sizes...

    99 e36 M3...

wheels are 17x7.5" wheels up front and 8.5" in back. Can I go to 17" x 8.0" all around? Will I have problems with rubbing, tires, etc?

Also, any ideas on powder coated finishes versus plain metal with clear coat? There seems to be so many combinations, forged, non-forged, alloys, 1 pice two piece...etc...

    Any help woudl be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I don't know about the fitment question, but powder-coated paint is extremely durable. You can also apply a clear powder-coat over prepped metal.

Yes you can run 17x8's all around, depending on offset. A wheel that has between 38 and 44 will work. There are several people running 17x8.5's with no problems.
No matter where you go, there you are!
