Spring Tour to Gettysburg National Military Park

Pull off the car covers and pump up your tires for the first tour of the year! We will meet mid morning in Urbana for a pleasant drive circumnavigating Frederick and up into the Catoctin Mountains. After enjoying some twisty mountain roads and wilderness we'll head back down and into Gettysburg for a Group Lunch at the Mason Dixon Distillery. The distillery is family owned and operated offering a variety of food and drink with a specialization in Corn Whiskey, Rum and Vodka. Save room for dessert because after Lunch we will stop by the Half Pint Creamery with over 36 flavors changing daily to pick from eaten how you like it classic scoops, cups and shakes. Following Dessert we will stop by Gettysburg National Military Park for a driving tour of the Battlefield for those who are interested. We will meet at 9am at the Urbana Park and Ride "South" Lot next to the Exxon Gas Station and leave at 9:30 after the drivers' meeting.

If you have 2-way radios (walkie-talkies), please bring them to enable communications among the group. Channel info to be provided at drivers' meeting.

The cost for the tour is $10 per car. If you cancel 3 days before the close of registration you will be refunded.

Our Lunch Stop will be the family owned and operated Mason Dixon Distillery in Gettysburg. The building was originally a furniture factory that has been converted to a distillery with a "German Beer Hall" atmosphere featuring a large variety food and drink specializing in Rum, Vodka and Corn Whiskey, made on site. You can see the menu here: http://www.masondixondistillery.com/...tes-cocktails/ . There are also 6 rotating food dishes that change every week, so the exact menu will be a bit of a surprise!
