The always popular GREAT PIE RUN tradition returns with Edition XXII on Saturday November 10, just in time to stock up for Thanksgiving! And because one can NEVER have enough pie. We'll meet at Wilson Meat Farms Meat Co. in Catlett VA. We will have an intermediate stop/regroup point on the way to our lunch at the always popular Schmankerl Stube in Hagestown MD (12:45 arrival, 1pm seating). The restaurant is under renovation but they are ready to accommodate us and provide their great Bavarian service. After lunch, we will drive to Catoctin Mountain Orchard in Thurmont MD for a final stop for pies and other goodies. Plan on arriving at Wilson Farm by 9am and we'll have a drivers' meeting at 09:20 and start rolling out around 09:30.
If you have 2-way radios (walkie-talkies), please bring them to enable communications among the group. Channel info to be provided at drivers' meeting.
The cost for the tour is $5 per person over 18. If you cancel before the close of registration you will be refunded.
