New Member - E21 in Leesburg

I've joined the BMW CCA having recently returned to BMW ownership. Early this year I acquired a solid, one-owner 1980 320i (E21) in Southern California. While there is much about the car that is very good (complete service history, rust free and cosmetically sound CA blue plate), my son and I are going through the process of remedying a variety mechanical issues due to age and wear after many years of storage by the previous owner. She's a treat - but as one might anticipate with a car of this vintage, some issues are showing up. Bushings, bearings and switches -- oh my. It's a rolling restoration project!
