eBay. Never bought there before. Any tips? Safe to buy torque wrench?

The subject pretty well sums up my situation.

I need to start building up my tool collection so people will stop looking at me that way when I ask to borrow tools at DIY events. One of the things I need most is a torque wrench. I've never used eBay before, but this looks pretty tempting, and at that price (or not too much higher) I'm willing to take the risk before I drive up to Gettysburg to buy at the outlet which sells Tekton.

So, is this a good idea? What's good advice for a first-time eBayer?

EBay or otherwise, new or used, you never know if the calibration is correct. If the tool has been dropped or abused, it may not be accurate. I wonder how much Snap-on charges for calibration? A new wrench is $479. 5–100 ft-lb is a very useful wrench, from small fasteners to wheel bolts.
