October 8/9 Summit Point

In reviewing the Summit Point Schedule I note that you guys will be on Shennandoah on October 8th & 9th. My Question: I have a Swift DB4 and we are chasing an electrical problem before our next event at WG on 10-22&23. We believe we have it solved but need a very small amout of track time to get the car moving and up to temp [NOT FULL SPEED], Would it be possible to rent some track time, during lunch either on Saturday or Sunday, for slow speed testing.

On Friday there will be an open test day on the Main Circuit. SCCA or NASA license and legal rce car,and $200 will get you 4 - 7 sessions.

Fred, just so you know for future reference, Summit has noise restrictions at mid-day on Sundays - due to the proximity of a church off the property, and after 5:30pm on weekends.

Except on dedicated test days, open track time is a precious commodity that few groups are likely to give up, especially given insurance concerns.

Is that restriction for all circuits, or just the Shenandoah?
