Hello everyone!
I come from a family of BMW owners and my entry is a 2000 E39 540i 6-speed. I've put 190k of the 240k miles on the odometer, and still use her as my daily driver. I (with the help of my dad and brother) try to do all of the maintenance and repairs myself, though two young kids and a small garage make that more challenging these days.
My wife and I are going to try to make our first club event this month and meet up with the group driving down to Fredericksburg for Carl's. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
