SCCA Pocono Double-National races

I've been racing for 14 years and this past weekend at Pocono I had the most fun I've ever had racing. I had three poles, a 2nd place finish, and a 3rd place finish in two races filled with non-stop wheel-to-wheel action.

Sorry if this sounds like bragging, but I'm still on a high from the weekend.

This was a double National. On Friday we had a 15 minute practice and a 25 minute qualifying session. Our times on Friday could be used for both the Saturday race and the Sunday race.

On both Saturday and on Sunday we had a 15 minute qualifying session followed by a race.

So, that's how you get 3 qualifying sessions. The Friday one was on a wet track. Saturday & Sunday were completely dry days.
