I see that this is your first post at this forum. I don't know if you are a BMW club member that also owns a VW, or a VW owner that somehow found this forum! While some BMW club member here might have VW Golf experience, I'd suggest to search for a VW Golf-specific forum. That symbol usually has something to do with the traction control system.
