GREAT PIE RUN XVII: Enduro Run

We will begin at Catoctin Mountain Orchard in Thurmont, MD, have lunch in Madison, Va at The Barbeque Exchange and end at (optional) Prince Michel Winery in Madison , VA. As always all are welcome to attend, whether a member or non-member (get those non-members to become members).

CMO is a mom & pop operation specializing in homemade pies, either fresh baked or uncooked frozen. They also have fresh fruits, preserves, jams, jellies, dressings and cider and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. YOU MUST TRY THE APPLE CIDER!!!
Note: I highly recommend ordering your pies ahead of time since we are a large group. The pies can be ordered freshly baked or frozen. Some people do bring a cooler with them to keep their pies from sliding around in the trunk, especially since we have a lot more fun driving to do. When you place your order, reference the "BMW group". The pies range in price from $8.95-$10.95. Check their site for the different types of pie.
IMPORTANT: The deadline for calling or emailing orders for pies is Friday, November 20th . Popular pies: Apple Walnut, Strawberry, Cherry Crumb, Peach, Peach Blueberry, Blueberry, Four Berry.

Anyone interested in caravaning from DC, I'd suggest Montgomery Mall Bethesda Sears Auto Center or Bowlmor Rockville on Shady Grove https://goo.gl/maps/gWTxRpedxWT2 for easy access to 270N with least stoplight disruption. Leaving @ 7 from Sears would have arrival @ 7:50 which can be adjusted. Takers?

Not only will we hit our favorite stops (Catoctin Mountain Orchard & Wilson Meat Farm), but we also have a new route with some awesome back roads and a new lunch location, Sibby's in Warrenton, VA.

Plese note that the deadline to pre-order your pies and meat is Thursday, so call now to ensure what you want is available. And, don't forget, Wilson Meat Farm is CASH ONLY.
