Hey NCC!

I'm a new BMW CCA member located just outside of Annapolis, MD. I briefly owned a 2009 135i that I purchased new, but after selling it I have been on a BMW hiatus for nearly 5 years. In 2013 I did my first HPDE weekend - now that I've officially caught the HPDE bug after the past two years I decided to return to a BMW and build a dedicated track car. To that end, in February I purchased an '87 325is... one week later I purchased an S52 motor and have spent much of the last couple months familiarizing myself with both the E30, the S52, and the process of joining them.

I'm currently doing some basic maintenance and upgrades to the car while also performing a good deal of scheduled and preventative maintenance for the engine, along with some upgrades here and there I plan to track the car with the stock M20 at the MPACT Motorsports Festival at Pocono Raceway next month, after which I plan to begin the engine swap. With a little luck I hope to have an S52-powered, track ready E30 by next season.

I look forward to getting to know everyone here and getting involved in events with other fellow enthusiasts!
