With Takata finally admitting a defect, BMW June 1 expanded its airbag recall, meaning many of us who had our cars recalled for passenger airbags will now have to return for a new driver airbag.

I just received a letter from BMW stating that "parts are available" for the passenger side.

As did I, and here we are 46 weeks after the campaign/recall was first announced mid-July 2014...
