Grand Prix does not exist on DVD. There is an online petition. Thanks to autoextremeist.com for the heads up. A great movie that needs to be on DVD.

Grand Prix" fans. To a generation of racing fans, seeing the movie "Grand Prix" was a pivotal moment in their lives. As a matter of fact, we bet more young people decided to try their hand at racing after seeing "Grand Prix" than any other movie before or since. Steve McQueen's "Le Mans" may have had the most authentic "real" racing footage, but "Grand Prix" captured the human dimension of the obsession with racing better than any movie about the sport ever made. The reason we're bringing this up? It seems that there is no DVD version of "Grand Prix" available. Not only that, there are no plans in the works to create one, either, unless there's enough demand for one (so the manufacturer says). So, if you go to the following link http://www.putgrandprixondvd.com/default.asp you can sign a petition requesting that a DVD be made. Do it now. Thanks to Paul Brian, Director of Communications for the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, for making us aware of it.
