I've always liked Radial in Silver Spring.
Curry's Auto has competitive pricing and tire equipment that doesn't touch the wheel with any metal parts. They also offer Hunter road force balancing, and did extend a club discount.

I have used Curry's in Arlington for a Tire Rack purchase as well as getting some loose wheels/tires that I bought balanced. I second the opinion that their gear is top quality and would definitely check them out.
why in the world would you buy run flats? get some bridgestone potenza or michelin super sports.
Runflat technology has come a long way.
Depends on the circumstances. None of my cars have runflats just because they never did but my wife's car does. I like knowing that if she gets a flat she can generally still make it home.
Many cars do not have a place for a spare. Our Mini doesn't.
I've driven the new M4, M5 and M6. I don't think performance is suffering.
