    Hi Everone,

My wife and i just joined last week at Bimmerfeast. We have owned BMW's since 1995.
Owning these cars was my wife's fault for buying a E34 530i that I kicked, screamed, and told her to get that foreign thing out of my driveway, but after driving it and having to work on it over the years we owned it (I always perform maintenance and repairs myself) I ended up enjoying it, and it was the first car she wasn't bored with after a year. She kept it for 8 years and put over 180,000 miles on it before we sold it when we had a third baby on the way.
We now have three of them in the garage and I enjoy all of them.
My wife drives an E70 that I could not drag her out of because of the extended leather and adaptive drive which makes it feel like a car and not the 5000 LBS monster it really is.
Our E39 525i has already survived my son through high school and is now being passed on to my teenage daughter.
The E39 M5 I bought after selling the E60 550i (wife hated it) and wanted a fun car to run around on the weekends with, and what a blast it is.
Out of all of the cars we have owned over the years the BMW's are the most enjoyable to drive, all of the others have just been transportation.

We look foward to seeing you guys and gals at NCC events.

Welcome! I hope you get active and attend some events soon. Lots of fun stuff coming up over the next few weeks like our golf outing this weekend, the VIR corral, and our crab feast in Baltimore. Hope you and the family can make it out to one of those.
