Every year Hagerstown, Md. has a German “Oktoberfest” celebration to celebrate the town’s German heritage. They call it "Augustoberfest” and this year the “fest” is on Sat, August 23rd and Sun, August 24th. See details at http://augustoberfest.org/index.html but be sure you have the 2014 page.

PCA Potomac has been invited to have a car show on Sunday, Aug 24th to help them celebrate. The show runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will be a simple “people’s choice” (wash & shine) show with trophies or prizes (more on that later) for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. They have also invited the NCC and local Mercedes-Benz chapters. Last year there were ~30 Porsches, 3 BMWs and a lone M-B. Let's have a better showing this year!

Registration will be $10.00 per car which includes 1 ticket to the “Fest”. Additional tickets are $5.00 each and kids under 12 are free. So if you want good German beer, food, music, etc., I look forward to seeing you there!
