01 530i manual sports. Which Redline fluids do you use for differential? 75W-90 or 75W-90NS? Would it make any difference for my car between these two?
Thanks

One of them has an additive for LSDs. I don't recall which one though.
75-90 is for lsd's.
75-90ns has no limited slip friction modifier.
unless you are racing the car, then different rules apply...
75W90: A GL-5+ and GL-6 spec oil, preferred for use in conventional and LSD differentials. Contains limited-slip friction modifiers for decreased noise and better wear from clutch-type LSD units. Suitable for street and track. 75W90NS: A GL-5 oil, designed for conventional differentials, but can be used in clutch-type LSD units for increased locking rates, leading to reduced wheelspin. Not recommended for street-driven LSD units!
So I assume that for street-driven, I should use 75W90, NOT 75W90NS.
Is this correct?
Thanks
ahhh, that is what my post and the official description would indicate!
a racer trick to increase lock up on an lsd is to put some 7w90ns in there instead of some regular 75w90. less slippery = more clutch friction.
for a street car...redline 75w90

What other secrets are you "hoarding"???
