August 7 Summer Tour for lunch to Solomon's Island

Don't forget we have a drive coming up in August. I picked a place where we could have lunch indoors since the Summer months can be unpredicatable. The Mini folks went there last year and found some nice roads. Food was good too.

For those who have never gone on one of the tours it is a lot of fun.

We meet at 10:00 am. Each driver will receive a detailed set of route instructions. Some people will follow each other which is fine. Just make sure the lead car knows where they are going. There is plenty of time to get to the destination. These aren't races. I do need to hear from you if you are going. RSVP to steven@happtogether.com

Solomon's Island Summer Tour

Destination: Lighthouse Inn, Solomon's Island, MD
Start Location: Fort Washington, MD
Time: 10:00 a.m.

Come join us on a romp through southern Maryland where our destination will be the Lighthouse Inn on Solomon’s Island for a scrumptious lunch. We have the place reserved just for us.

We’ll meet in Fort Washington off of Fort Washington Road and Route 210 in the Autozone parking lot. We’ll head out at 10:30 a.m. and the trip should take us just over 90 minutes.

The menu for lunch will be your choice of Shrimp Salad Sandwich, Solomon’s Chicken Sandwich, Hamburger or Thai Chicken Salad and a beverage. You may choose when you get there. Please bring a check made payable to NCC BMW CCA for $13.50 per person. Monies will be collected at the start.

Directions to the start:
495 Capital Beltway to exit 3A (South 210, Indian Head Hwy)
Go approximately 4.3 miles.
Right at Traffic Light onto Ft Washington Rd.
Right after Exxon into Autozone parking lot.
