The 2009 NASA Mid-Atlantic track season ends with the "Fall Finale" at Summit Point's 2-mile main circuit on Sat & Sun Nov 7-8! There is no racing scheduled but there will be all four levels of HPDE...

Three cars were done and racing last season (J. McAvoy in the RRT car aka the prototype, J. Packer in #242 aka the first completed chassis, and G. Widas in a black one.) Last I heard, 20+ suspension...

NASA-MA is seriously considering this new venue as well. I got the grand tour a couple of weeks ago. It is AWESOME. Far better in person than in pictures & diagrams.

Updating the thread, we're back at VMP for an autoX on Sun 1/14/07. This event will offer 6-8 runs on a big fast fun Rod McGeorge-designed course, and it's about two-thirds full now:

Probably too much work just to end up with a car that looks like more of a sleeper than it already is :biggrin:
