Very cool footage!! Those tires look very low profile for that time period. It's sad to see these amazing cars and think where most of them are today.
I want to check out the Summit Point vids now.

Great, thanks!
My golf event for tomorrow has been canceled due to the expected rain. Is there room for me to walk up and register at the event?
Thanks! I'm just thankful they were still serving food late in the day(delicious food by the way). I was feeling tired until I had my second helping of food and got my second wind(I need to start...
I talked to him in the paddock before he ran and he said this was his first autox. I'm guessing he did that because of inexperience. He definitely could've used an instructor in his car.
Lol....people are ridiculous.
*note to self: come up with better excuse next year*
I agree. I really enjoyed the offset gates. While walking this course I didn't think it was going to be much fun to drive.....I was wrong. Props to the designers and everyone involved with running...
Thanks! Props to the photographer. When I see Katie at events I usually think "she must not be taking pictures today" because I see her off doing other things. I'm not sure how she manages to take...
I can't figure out the hosting site....lol. The picture doesn't always seem to show up. Oh well.
Thanks Katie! I took the plunge and bought one for $1 to see how big they were. Hope it's ok if I post it here to give everyone an idea of the size(and showoff a nice picture:)).

That was a fun course! Props to the course designer(s) and everyone running the event. I was a little disappointed Rocky Balboa didn't show, but I'm sure he has a busy schedule.
I'm looking forward to meeting the former heavyweight champ and seeing what he can do with his S2000. Wish he'd bring one of his Lambo's instead.....or that robot.

The car looked quick, but you were on three wheels at nearly every turn....lol. It blew my mind to see a car moving, yet one wheel not spinning:biggrin:. Nice car btw.
Yep, same size wheel and tire on all four corners.
The Dunlops are an excellent tire choice. I'd also recommend looking into the D-Force LTW wheels. It'll be tough to beat them for a well priced, light weight, and strong wheel....
I had a great time at this event. I'm really enjoying how competitive T2 has been.
Looks like I had a case of wishful dyslexia after my first run. I apologize to the people I told a had a better...
Thank you sir.
I must've made a mistake when registering. I'm listed with a 2009 M3 in T1. It should be a 1997 M3 in T2. Sam Koberoski #207.
I'd like to thank Katie for consistently sharing the high quality photos she takes at each event. We all enjoy being able to relive moments of the autox through these pics.
See y'all bright and early.... early afternoon that is.....and it's probably going to be overcast, so forget the bright part.
Ouch! Sorry to hear about the meeting with the wall:frown:. I've seen a number of cars lose it on turn nine. Hope you're able to get her back to new.
Turbo 2.8 eh, interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on it during the One Lap of A.
Jens, it's great to see Summit Point continue to add new circuits. I'm thankful to have such a nice facility within easy driving distance from DC. The first time I visited SP you took me for a few...
New engine.....again?? what's under the hood now?
"truck" .....LOL
