That wasn't a dancer, man, that was an outback waitress.
On the plus side, she will remember you.

I think it's great that the BMW club opens their events to non BMWs, and I'm sure it helps them fund their events better, in many cases.
I like the SCCA events for the competition, and the other...
I think the issue isn't about having a tow vehicle necessarily, since John and I both have them too, but rather, whomever tows, can't drive their car. Unless they want to use someone else's car or...
Ken - do you have an NCC license plate by any chance?
ruh roh rorge....
my wife is due the 9th, but I'll help out as much as possible.
maybe she'll go into labor at the autocross, and my car will be all prepped for high speed hospital trip? we can name the baby...
Sounds like you were in Grace Harbour, and that would have been my house! Let's see... were you visiting Pat N.?

Mike F. he has a couple of nice older cars in the garage across...
It was my first autox and you beat me by over 3 seconds....

I've done 5 events, 4 in the Subaru, over the last calendar year. I guess I'm at the limit of the "novice"...
where are you in hdg? I was visiting a friend of my wife's and saw an M3 across the street that looked a lot like yours.
this was in a newer neighborhood right off 155, one light away from 95.
I would like to see how I did against the other novices :)
looks like they still have some pax/classing issues to straighten out with JV and Doby.
I know what you mean. I've played a few times when there was a chance of rain. That's hanging it out, bigtime.
sounds like fun. I play diamond ridge every thursday, but have never played the woodlands.
Pine ridge is pretty nice too, but I've only played there once, in the winter.
Nope. There it is.
what about light poles, dips, and grates? that stuff is important to course designers, I assume.
do we need to measure it?
no such thing for meatheads.
flexibility?
:butthead:
I know. I told my wife that story, and she said..."you know that's not going to happen, right?"
early september might be tough for me, since that's when my wife is due.
I'll help as much as I can, though.
can't make either, unfortunately.
I'll let you in on a little secret. I bought the car in Silver so I didn't have to wash it.
...it's been a year, and it's been washed once. I feel like such a chump :) No swirl marks, though....
no problem, as long as it goes on the calendar ...
1. How much?
2. How much for you to do my STi? ;)
Fun event :) I can't wait to see the results and be amazed by the times everyone put down.
Jed -
fhm had some nice shots of the lady in your avatar, have you seen them?
I'd definitely be interested, I'll check my calendar and make sure I have that date open.
I'd love to bring my sister also, but she'd be starting literally from scratch. And driving an automatic...
Rob,
Sounds like a good plan. Will you get one in Silver or do something radical and get a different color?
BTW, not all of my cars are Silver - my daily driver is a Sea Mist Green...
yeah, but he flosses the Bimmer at the NCC events.
