Thanks for the info. I know SCCA and NASA will let open-top cars run; in the 4 track days I did with NASA, the Miata was the most popular car.

Thanks for the info. I know SCCA and NASA will let open-top cars run; in the 4 track days I did with NASA, the Miata was the most popular car.
Thanks again.
It's a good thing my car isn't a convertible, since it doesn't have a soft top. But seriously, can anyone confirm this? Seems like you'd be eliminating a significant fraction of BMW drivers.
The Jefferson Circuit looks super-tiny on the map. It's hard to tell from YouTube videos, what's it like to drive, say, compared to Summit Point Main?
I'm setting up my '95 MIata as a track car. (My previous track days were in an '04 Mazdaspeed Miata, now sold.) So, I'm right there with you on the low-power front. I'm interested in learning as...
Also, can anyone tell me how an NCC DE event compares with NASA's HPDEs or SCCA's PDXes?
I'm certainly interested. How can I be notified when the details are posted?
When should instructors arrive?
I responded to the e-mail requesting instructors (in the affirmative), but I haven't heard anything back from anyone. So, how do I know if I'm on the list and expected? Is there an "official" list...
Never mind. I figured it out.
Is anyone else have trouble accessing the results? There was no problem yesterday, but now, when I open the downloaded HTML file, I just get pointed at the NCC autocross page.
I agree that the course was lots of fun. My only beef was also with the finish. I believe the finish chute should have been longer. My car has good brakes and sticky tires, and I still had trouble...
I'm planning to be there in X4 in the '09 Miata. There's not much new on the car to shake down, but its driver needs to blow out the cobwebs.
I also had a good time instructing. Thanks for the opportunity.
Thanks also to whoever ordered the food. I was gratified to see that there was a grilled option for those of us who don't eat...
I'm not the fastest driver in the West or anything, but I'd be glad to instruct if instructors are needed. Shoot me an e-mail at

AJ,
Thanks for your reply. I can use all the seat time I can get, so perhaps I'll sign up.

So what do the schools cover? Are they useful for non-novices?
Thanks.
Michael
Please let us know when registration opens. Is there an e-mail list I can join?
Thanks.
Michael
Is the event likely to fill up? I don't want to drive out there just to be turned away.
Is anyone else still receiving the "recipient unable to receive payment" error on PayPal? Is there any way to register without paying, so I can pay when I get there while still knowing what numbers...
I encountered the same problem from work today.
I tried to register, but I received a message from PayPal saying "this recipient is currently unable to receive money." I got the same result with two different browsers. Anyone else having this...
Thank you for putting on such a fun event. I had a good time.
This is my first event with BMWCCA, can you tell me when and where results are usually posted?
Thanks.
Well, I foolishly was logged on at DLB Racing as my wife when I registered. (She was apparently still logged in after her last event.) I don't see a way on DLB Racing to cancel that registration so...
