Looking forward to this event! I'll be there Friday only.
What it did for the E46 M3 was make the first year (without a problem) and newer models desirable and worth extra money. The 03.5 and up models had the same extended warranty, but none of the...
Wish I could make it. I'm trying to commit to coming up there in July...but only if it's the full circuit.
Curious why only the fan shroud had to be replaced? I went down a similar road with a broken fan shroud from the fan blades. Ended up being motor mounts that failed. Did you have to bleed the...

Extremely nice facility. Staff was very friendly and racing oriented. Electric karts were unique to get used to with all the torque. Plenty of...
Anders's might still be selling his 318is. I hear it's back in N. VA now. It's decent quick without a ton of go fast mods. Good part is that it is already fitted with rollbar/seats/harness.
I would commonly pull my own gloves off fighting an oversteer. I just stopped wearing them.
Looks like a great time. Great pics on picasa as well. I enjoyed the trip to Orlando too! ;) Which was more fun?
I ran those size tires on my E46 M3 after having stock sizes and I was sorely disappointed. All the point and shoot feeling the M3 had was gone with the large size tires. I would discourage it.

Didn't know Scott went off. Everything ok?

I'm debating bringing my 325i with Blizzaks (I don't currently own any other tires for it) or Mcoupe with Contisports (or R888 but doubtful). I'm definitely not towing the Mcoupe down there.

Perhaps you open your search up to include 325/328's?
I would say at 100k miles, you will likely need to toss in $2k to get everything sorted and safe for the track. Not sure what your total...
Greased Lightning
Heart Like a Wheel
I remember watching those as a kid feeding my passion for cars.
EDIT...just looked up Greased Lighning on IMDB....guess where it was filmed...
If anything is a circus, it's IRL. At least F1 doesn't drive kit cars...I guess that's where they get the costly part.
I think seeing all the pristine tracks is half the fun for me.
What? No refueling? That seems so boring not to have fuel strategy for the race and qualifying. How will the "ice man" get warmed up?

Great seeing everyone again!
Thanks RRT and NCC!
I'm going to try to make it...if not the family, at least me.
