My car has recently been throwing up the check engine light - I know what its for and I just want to reset it currently.
I usually end up going to Advance Auto, borrowing their tool and resetting...
I disagree with the sentiment above. I use a V1 as soon as I cross statelines out of DC and VA. And I will admit that it has saved me a few times from being caught due to laser.
The theory behind...
That is pretty funny - here is another print ad...

I do sometimes catch myself feeling like the columnist about other drivers (not discriminating by vehicle type) who tend to do what the Red BMW driver did.
Frustrates me no end when I feel that...
NICE! Thanks for the info. I shall start mapping this immediately!
I was hoping to get the nicest drive out of it - if that means spending most of the 1st driving - so be it.
Next week I am doing a drive Centreville, VA -> Sandusky, OH -> Cleveland OH -> Centreville, VA
The return leg is going to be on Sunday July 6 - and I would pretty much stick the highways to get...

If you can have DRL - why not this?
JC - sorry I did not get a chance to check this thread before I went there over the weekend.
I was there about 4ish. Was there in the M3 :)

If I remember right HBL had recommended I walk across to the Audi dealership and check with them.

I had a problem with one of my rims and got it fixed through...
I had the honor of starting the Summer Tire 2007 Edition thread - and the consensus that I got then for my daily NON AutoX (yet) driver was the Toyo T1R - which I must say has been a very good tire...
Well I think mtnstpr is still working on finalizing all the logistics with DMV -
and then after that we start collecting checks with applications. Then we submit the application after we have hit...
Great news Steven!
Although for some reason I had already assumed long back that we had the OK! :)
Glad its there!
Fantastic! Thats great information. Thank you very much Slamdunkpro!

Hey mtnstpr and chicane - do you guys have any soft copies of stuff that you might have sent to other chapters to advertise?
I was just speaking Scott and Chris Coulter of Curry's this morning -...
I tried to find out if the law changed between 10/1 and this month - and I couldn't come up with anything.
Sorry to be referring to Google cache rather than the actual DEQ site ( its broken!)...
That sucks! Boy did I get lucky!
I guess you should probably take it into a dealer and make sure they take care of it one way or the other.
hmmm - now to try and figure out what I can do with 6 characters!
Too bad my current plate is 7.5 :(
Hmm... very strange - now that you mention it - the only difference between my Emissions inspection this vs. the last time was that I actually DID get the 06E-A03 recall performed on the machine.
...
Fantastic!
Quick question - are we still going with the design I had drafted sometime back? I believe the image is available here - http://forum.nccbmwcca.org/showpost.php?p=18554&postcount=64. Or...
really? I got it done last month - over in Herndon.
Yup! Me. E46 M3 2001.
They had to dyno it instead of the OBD.
